De Smaakfabriek is a bistro, this is part of the restored Stroopfabriek with the Fruit Experience Center and Borgloon's tourist reception center.

In our bistro we serve small simple dishes including some specialties based on local syrup. For a drink on our beautiful terrace you are welcome for a regional juice, Limburg beers or a wine from Borgloon.
We are a daytime business. For groups, we also open our doors in the evening. For this, please send an e-mail with your choice of group formula.
Opening hours
The blossom season has started again and we are open daily.
We kindly ask you to reserve your table in advance, as it can be very busy during the blossom period.

On Saturdays and Sundays, we will be open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
