De Smaakfabriek is a bistro, this is part of the restored Stroopfabriek with the Fruit Experience Center and Borgloon's tourist reception center.

In our bistro we serve small simple dishes including some specialties based on local syrup. For a drink on our beautiful terrace you are welcome for a regional juice, Limburg beers or a wine from Borgloon.
We are a daytime business. For groups, we also open our doors in the evening. For this, please send an e-mail with your choice of group formula.
Opening hours
On Mondays, we are only open for drinks, ice cream or a slice of cake (the kitchen is closed on Mondays).
On all other days, we are open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and until 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
If you would like to visit at another time, please email us at info@smaakfabriek.be and we will see what is possible.
For groups, we also open in the evening. Please email us with your choice from our group menu options.
